Why Functional Playground Therapies?
We offer both in-home and clinic-based services to provide variety and to reach established goals as thoroughly as possible.
In-Clinic Services:
- We utilize an evidence-based AI program to guide our home exercise programs
- We offer age-specific social groups
- We provide ADHD-specific groups for children and teens
- Get clients in for an evaluation within one month of referral
In-Home Services:
- No transportation is needed
- More flexibility in scheduling
- Parent/caregiver is involved in therapy session which allows for improvement at a greater rate
- Daily items, tasks and routines are implemented in therapy sessions
- Environment is less stimulating allowing for increased focus
Therapy Services We Offer
Occupational Therapy
Pediatric occupational therapists work to help adolescents, children and teens participate in their “occupations” at the optimal level.
Speech Therapy
Speech therapists help children and adults improve their communication skills by addressing speech, language, voice, and swallowing challenges.
Physical Therapy
Pediatric physical therapists help children improve movement, strength, balance, and coordination so they can develop and participate fully in daily activities and play.
