Kayla

Physical Therapist

Kayla is a pediatric physical therapist with six years of experience helping children develop strength, mobility, confidence, and independence. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of New Mexico before receiving her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. Kayla has a special interest in infant physical therapy, early motor development, torticollis, and toe walking.

Kayla chose pediatrics because she loves having the opportunity to make a difference not only in a child’s life, but in the life of the entire family. She especially enjoys working with infants and young children, building relationships with families, and celebrating progress together. One of her favorite therapy activities is creating obstacle courses that combine play and movement while working toward functional goals.

One thing Kayla wants families to know is that physical therapy can make a difference from the very beginning of life. Pediatric PT can support babies with concerns such as torticollis, tummy time, positioning, and early motor development while helping them learn to move more comfortably and confidently.

Outside of the clinic, Kayla is a proud dog mom to Boba!
