Robyn
COTA/L

Robyn has been a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant since 2012, with most of her career dedicated to pediatrics as well as experience working in skilled nursing. She loves finding creative ways to make therapy engaging and meaningful, often incorporating themed activities and a good incentive to keep kids motivated and having fun.

One thing Robyn wishes more families knew is that occupational therapy is about so much more than handwriting. Sensory needs and behaviors can often be a child’s way of communicating what their body needs rather than simply being “bad” or disrespectful. She enjoys helping children and families better understand those needs while building skills that support everyday participation and independence.

Outside of therapy, Robyn enjoys baking and decorating cookies. Her approach to pediatric OT can be summed up perfectly by one of her favorite sayings: “If it looks like play, we’re probably working on at least five things.”
